Even though every client is told to wait until the hair to be waxed is long enough, it is not always the case. Here is an example with a client who has a regrowth of 2 mm on the armpit area which in this case equals to three days of unshaved hair. How to wax short hair ?
Begin the treatment like any other. Apply a Blue Lotion to cleanse the area followed by a very small amount of Jasmin Oil. A good idea is to not use a cotton pad for the product but to apply a drop on you glove and rub it on the palm before . That way you are avoiding application of excess product that can interfere with the wax effectiveness.
After the skin is prepped, apply the wax in the opposite direction of the hair growth. With short hairs it helps to follow the direction of the ‘shadow’ the hair creates under the skin. Make sure the wax is completely set before removing the wax strip you created.
