Contrary of what you see now, CND started with a humble invention of Dr. Stuart Nordstrom, a practicing dentist, who got the idea by listening to difficulties his nail professional customer had. The result was SolarNail™ Liquid, the industry’s first-ever monomer formulation for greater nail strength and flexibility—and the first product to deliver natural, non-yellowing nail color. After patenting it, two of his children decided to pursue this as a business, one of them Jan Nordstom-Arnold, who is with the company to this day.
